Styx River Farm Tarragon

Styx River Tarragon

IAR 126316 DOB 23/11/06

Styx River Tarragon is a fine example, true to type huacaya alpaca. He is the result of inter-generational improvement acheived through wise breeding. His grand-dam NZ Southern Nutmeg was a peruvian import and his dam NZ Southern Cassia was a red ribbon girl. His sire, IRL Alpine Fiber's Brutus, has progeny who have consistently won broad ribbons throughout New Zealand.

Tarragon has recently achieved stud certification and will be ready to work in Spring 2008. Tarragon has yet to be beaten in his class and has been awarded a broad ribbon in every show. His latest achievement is Supreme fleece at the Mayfield show. Tarragon has noted ancestry of Purrembete Inti (great grand-sire) and Purrembete Ledger's Dream (great grand-dam). His grand-sire is the famed Hemmingway.
